Nishant Badh is a dedicated Heritage Conservation Researcher and enthusiast with over a decade of experience documenting the architectural soul of Saurashtra. Originally from Jamnagar and now based in Porbandar, Nishant has built a deep connection with the region’s history, working closely with the Porbandar Royal Family to study and preserve its legacy.

He is most notably recognized for his relentless advocacy for the Dariya Mahal Palace. In 2017, when the historic structure faced potential demolition, Nishant spearheaded a massive public awareness campaign, mobilizing the community to send nearly 40,000 postcards to save the landmark. His expertise is backed by four years of intensive research into the palace's unique construction techniques and historical significance.

An explorer at heart, Nishant once completed a solo bike journey across Saurashtra to map out forgotten princely structures and cultural sites. As the Founder and President of the Porbandar Conservatory, he actively leads heritage walks and photo tours to reconnect citizens with their roots.

At Touch Gujarat, Nishant brings his field-tested insights and archival research to life, uncovering the untold stories of Gujarat's magnificent heritage.
